What is IPTV?
IPTV stands for “Internet Protocol Television,” and it refers to TV that is streamed via an internet server.

Can I Get IPTV On My Fire TV or Fire Stick?
As long as you have an Amazon Fire Stick or other Fire TV device, and a high speed internet connection (20mbps or more recommended) you can stream live tv channels on your Amazon Fire TV.
What is the Best Device for IPTV?
While most Android based boxes can install these applications, for ease of use and hardware reliability, we recommend the following devices:
- Fire TV Cube (Fastest)
- Fire Stick 4K (Best of convenience, power, and pricing)
- Fire Stick (Good budget option)
That said, the best IPTV apks out there can run on most up-to-date boxes.
Pros and Cons of IPTV services vs Cable
- Cost is lower than cable
- No contracts or long term commitments
- Most offer all season streaming sports packages at no extra cost
- Free Pay Per Views
- Usually more channels than cable (although this can depend)
- In most cases not officially supported by Amazon Alexa
- Usually no DVR functionality
- Third Party Apps need to be sideloaded to Fire TV (don’t worry, we’ll show you how)
Is IPTV Legal?
We get this question pretty frequently. Some people think that since IPTV services are so much cheaper than traditional cable there might be something “shady” about them. Luckily this is not the case. IPTV services are perfectly legal to use.
That said, there is usually no way for the end user to know if the content streaming on these services has been properly licensed from their original source. So, in order to fully protect your privacy while using an Amazon Fire Stick IPTV service, you will certainly want to use a VPN service.

Based on the above considerations, we have made our list below!
Best IPTV For Fire TV 2019
StreamTime TV is one of the most respected services in the IPTV world and for good reason. They offer 500 channels for as little as $15 a month, and we have had really good luck with the quality of the streams provided here.
This service provides a ton of options for everyone. For sports fans, it includes the most popular sports packages (NFL Sunday Ticket, League Pass, Premiere League), and a dedicated PPV section. It has a premium movie section. No matter where you are in the world, you can be sure StreamTime TV will have the content you are looking for in it’s wide selection of international content.
One of the best things about this IPTV service is that it uses a distributed network of servers to route the traffic. That means you will always be using the fastest server on the network to stream. We rarely encountered any buffering, non functioning channels, or broken streams.
Another great aspect of this company is the customer service. These guys are pretty on the ball and answer questions/concerns quickly, which is a rarity in this industry.
Their Amazon Fire TV IPTV APK was super simple to download and install. We got ours going in under 5 mins!
The only real drawback is that it costs $15 per device you use it on, so to connect your whole house may be a bit pricier.
Overall, StreamTimeTV is a fantastic, professional service that provides exactly what they claim to: great iptv on Amazon Fire TV Stick.
Price: $15/month per device.
Gears TV is a very well known, and considered by many to be one of the best IPTV for Fire Stick. This service has been around for a while, and we can confidently recommend Gears TV as a reliable source of Fire Stick cable TV. We have used our subscription to watch regular TV on Amazon Firestick for years.
Gears TV provides 300+ international network and cable channels with excellent HD quality streaming and minimal lag time. It’s not really lacking much. We have found that Gears TV has about the best quality streams of IPTV service we’ve tried.
What’s more, they have sections for all the major US and European sports networks. If you are looking for NBA/NFL/Premiere/etc, you should be able to find multiple streams of whatever you are looking for. There’s also a really great PPV section for UFC/Wrestling/Boxing that we have used even for huge fights without any real issues.
Gears TV has an ok navigation system, but it’s not as intuitive or easy on the eye as some of the others on here. We recommend you shell out an extra couple bucks and bundle it with the MayfairPro Guide. MayfairPro is a slick little app that transforms the Gears TV display into a layout pretty much exactly like your typical cable setup. If you’re asking how to watch tv with Firestick the Gears/Mayfair combo is pretty much an exact replacement. You can still use Gears TV without the guide just fine, but we prefer it with.
Gears also offers a ton of different pricing plans for monthly, bi-annual, and annual contracts for between 1 and 4 connected devices, so you can definitely find the contract that fits your budget and needs.
Gears TV can be a bit tricky to install, but usually doesn’t cause too much of a problem for most people. Their support is generally solid, so if you do run into trouble, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.
Overall Gears TV deserves it’s reputation as a first choice for any cable cutter looking for a Fire TV IPTV app.
Price: multiple different monthly/yearly plans.
We included this one on our list simply because so many people ask us about it. We have used it before and have to say that it is pretty good for the price ($5). However, they do not seem to be taking anymore subscribers at the moment. Most likely this is so they can keep their servers from becoming overloaded and slow down their streams.
This is totally understandable, but if you can’t purchase it, it doesn’t help you. If they do start taking new customers, it’s a pretty good option, but until then we recommend the following option for dirt-cheap Fire TV Live TV.
The Players Klub
We think The Players Klub is the best cheap IPTV For Fire Stick and Fire TV, and if you are looking for something like Area 51 this should be right up your alley.
Generally you get what you pay for. Spending a little extra usually means a better product. However, we have to say that The Players Klub offers just about the best bang for buck in this business. It even outperforms many of the pricier Amazon Firestick live TV services.
Players Klub is a no-frills operation. They only offer a single one-month one-device plan. However, it’s a great plan. It’s only 8 bucks a month, or $96 per year on a monthly subscription. There’s no contract, so you can cancel any time, which is always a good thing.
But how does TPK IPTV perform as a Fire TV live app? You get all the typical movie channels, sports, and the standard US, UK and CA cable and broadcast channels you expect in a solid IPTV.
What’s more you can also access their video on demand section with hundreds of movies and popular TV shows. Many more expensive services do not include this, which puts TPK at the head of the pack.
We also found that The Players Klub performed admirably on our setup. Even running through a VPN, it didn’t seem to have many problems buffering, and most of the channels worked just fine. The resolution was nice a crisp. Honestly, it felt like we were using a more expensive service.
Overall, this HD IPTV service is how to stream live TV on Firestick if you really need to stick to a budget!
Update May 2019 – Vader Streams has been shut down!
Vader Streams is practically a household name in IPTV Fire TV services. They run a highly highly reliable streaming service that has become one of the most popular ways to watch TV on Amazon Fire Stick out there. We have used this service extensively without any major issues.
One of the things that really sets this service apart is that you can use 5 different devices at the same time! Most providers charge extra per line, but you get 5 for the price of 1 with Vader. The yearly cost is about $125 and you can get streaming live TV on every screen in your house. Hell, you can even hook your neighbor up with five devices to play with!
So what do you get with Vader? You will get a ton of live cable channels on Firestick, with the usual English TV coverage as well as international channels from Brazil to the Middle East, to Russia, and everything between! They also have a Video on Demand section, and as of writing this they have over 2500 movies and 300 TV series to choose from.
What about live streaming sports? Vader Streams really shines in this category with their signature “Match Center”. This is a well curated list of live sports events with multiple channels linked per event. They generally do a great job including only high quality working links.
Vader also has a catch-up option on most major US channels for up to three days, allowing you to go back and watch any content you may have missed.
All-in-all, this is a great option for Amazon Fire Stick cable TV for people that want a trusted service that’s been around for a while.

Best Free IPTV Services For Fire TV 2019
We get tons of people asking us if you can you watch tv on Amazon Fire Stick for free. Some people don’t necessarily watch enough live TV to justify signing up for a new service. Some people just want to save money. Luckily, there are options for that as well. We have made a list of the APKs and Kodi IPTV addons are the best of the free services out there.
Keep in mind that you get what you pay for, and these programs are less reliable than the subscription services we mentioned above. These are also more prone to being shut down by the authorities, so what works today may not work tomorrow. The streams also tend to be choppier and more likely to not function. This can be especially irritating if you are watching a game.
That said, you can still find some free IPTV that may be “good enough” for casual use. If you aren’t super picky and just want the basics, you can do pretty well with the following options:
- That Broke Mallu V2.0
- Self Less Live
- cCloud TV
- Live Net TV
- TV One

Remember: Always Use A Good VPN!
It’s critical to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) whenever you watch cable tv Firestick with an IPTV service. Why? Without using one, you run the risk of getting in trouble with authorities if the service you’re using does not properly license it’s content. Even if it’s not your fault you could still end up getting fine. Obviously we would never condone piracy, but you do need to protect yourself because there are risks when you use a third-party streaming service.
In our opinion, using a VPN with an IPTV service isn’t just a “nice thing to have,” it is mandatory if you want toprotect your privacy and security. Luckily you can pick up one for only a few buck a month.
